Investigating ongoing issue

Resolved

The incident has been resolved, and we are conducting a post-mortem to prevent future occurrences.

Monitoring

The issue affecting access to our services has been resolved.
The problem was caused by an error in the service responsible for translating website addresses (like visbook.com) into actual internet locations (IP addresses). Unfortunately, this incorrect information was cached by many users’ devices and routers.

The underlying issue was fixed yesterday. However, due to local caching, some users may still experience issues for a while, depending on how quickly their devices update this information — it can take from a few hours to several days.

If you’re still experiencing issues: Try restarting both your computer and router. This will force them to request the updated information, which should restore access.

We’ll continue to monitor, but all systems are now operational.

Updated

We are continuing our investigation and cannot confirm resolution at this time. Further updates will follow.

Updated

Some customers are still experiencing problems. Unfortunately, propagating the DNS changes throughout the internet can take hours. We are still monitoring the situation.

Updated

We believe we have identified the root cause of the issue. We have asked our DNS provider to implement some changes, and we are now waiting for the changes to propagate.

Update – ongoing DNS Issue

We are continuing to work with our DNS provider to resolve the issue that is causing intermittent connectivity problems for some users. This may result in VisBook not loading properly, or redirecting to an unrelated site (e.g. visiting visbook.com opens joker.com).

What is DNS?
DNS stands for Domain Name System. It’s like the internet’s address book — it helps your browser find the correct location when you type in a web address like visbook.com.

When DNS doesn’t work as expected, it can send users to the wrong place, even if the actual service is running correctly in the background.

While VisBook itself is operational, some users may still be affected by incorrect DNS information. Our team is working closely with the DNS provider to fully resolve the issue.

Please note that how quickly this is fixed on your end may depend on how fast your internet provider updates their DNS records.

We’ll continue posting updates here and via email. We truly appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to restore full access.
